My name is Linda Hehir, and I am a retired NHS nurse/manager. When I became a manger I missed patient contact so I successfully gained an MSC Acupuncture and set up my own practice. Upon retiring from these careers I decided to write. My first book was ‘Ruby Ransom’ published under my maiden name. It is an adventure/romance fiction, which I wrote whilst on holiday in Myanmar (Burma). My second book was “‘Turn Pain Off’ which was developed on my experience from my acupuncture practice experience. It is a self help guide for people suffering from musculo-skeletal pain.
My third book was undertaken in conjunction with my grandson (Liam) and his mother (Louise Blair), who is a researcher and runs her own business.
I love reading all types of books and enjoy travel. Since retiring I continue to keep active to maintain my health through acting with a local drama group which supports adults with learning disabilities, training the public in CPR and defibrillators and through dancing and singing.
